mirror of our love

- intro -

Lovers wake, turn and rest

Flesh to flesh

With their mouths they do not speak

They kiss

And languidly they seek

Out the secrets of the other

The form beneath the form

Curves seek hollows

Hollows, curves

And nerves, they yearn

To connect

We recognize ourselves

In the mirror of our love

This bed is peopled by dreams

A garden of fantasies and schemes

Unfolding in the light of our love

Flesh flowers open slowly

In the heat

The dew rises from the leaves

We drift

Ascending above the trees

Hang suspended in space-time

Between the earth and sky

The forest starts to speak in tongues

And down we come

Diving deep

To still waters far below

As night becomes day

We feel as one

And dawn bursts into bloom

- instrumental -

We recognize ourselves

In the mirror of our love

This bed is peopled by dreams

A garden of fantasies and schemes

Unfolding in the light of our love

- instrumental -
